Merchant-initiated payments

OderoPAY supports merchant-initiated transactions, which are payments initiated by the merchant instead of the cardholder. These transactions are initiated on behalf of the customer based on an agreement between the merchant and the cardholder. Unlike customer-initiated transactions, cardholder authentication is not needed to make a payment.

Risk-Based Transactions

This is an exemption from the strong customer authentication where the platform is calculating the risk of the transaction and sends it to the acquiring bank as being an exemption and the issuing bank will not apply the SCA (Strong Customer Authentication)

Low-Value Payments

Payments below a certain value, usually 30 EUR, can be considered low-value payments and will be exempted from SCA by the issuing bank.
